Our excavator is a Case CX 50B. It’s a 5-ton, highly capable machine with great digging force and maneuverability.
It is a zero tail swing machine, which is great for working in tight spaces. Zero tail swing means the body of the machine does not swing wider than the width of the tracks. This is extremely important when working close to buildings, fences etc.
The 5-ton excavator has rubber tracks so it will not destroy roads, concrete or paved areas and is softer on grass compared to traditional steel-tracked machines.

Attachments for our excavator
We have 3 different size buckets for the machine, hydraulic log and rock grab, a ripper and auger with multiple size earth drills.
Think of the earth drills as a big hydraulic drill that is primarily used for drilling holes into the ground. Fence posts, retaining walls, landscaping posts, housing stumps, house and all types of concrete slab structural piers.
We carry multiple sized earth drills, including a 150mm, 300mm and 450mm.
It is equipped with a tilting hitch, which allows us to dig up to a 70-degree side angle. It also has a hydrolic dozer blade for pushing.
Our skidsteer 5-ft slasher is also capable of being attached to the excavator, this is perfect when slashing steep banks or areas that are inaccessible due to the slope or undulating terrain.
We carry the most popular attachments on our truck but will contact you prior to your job to check if you need us to bring any extra attachments for your earthmoving job.
